A little note from me to you
Vera was born from my own journey of wanting to better understand my thoughts and the stories I carried from childhood into adulthood. Through affirmations, I learned just how powerful our words can be in shaping confidence, resilience, and self-belief.
One evening, a friend shared that her young daughter had already begun comparing herself to others and wouldn’t say she was beautiful. It stayed with me. A quiet reminder of how early our self-beliefs begin, and how deeply children absorb the world around them.
Vera means truth in Latin. Our minds don’t know the difference between what is true or not, they simply believe what we repeatedly tell them. That’s why the words we share with children matter so much. They help shape who they become.
None of us are perfect, we’re all just doing our best. But I hope Vera becomes a small, meaningful tool to support emotions, encourage confidence, and help shape a kinder inner voice for the next generation.
